I stayed home sick. I should rest. But there is a whisper in my ear.... “Nardi...”
It is 70 degrees and sunny. I have to drive to the other side of town tonight to see a drumline competition. I have to drive something, maybe it wouldn’t hurt me too badly to take a crack at the wheel....

Your hands aren’t sick too are they?

I do the same thing. When there’s something I know I should/shouldn’t do, I call my dad because he’ll almost always tell me what I want to hear and back it up with some logic.

Nardi or shitposting,
that shouldn’t be a hard choice.

Do it! I’ve called in sick to work on my car before. I said I wasn’t feeling well. I never said which part of me wasn’t feeling well.

As long as it’s nothing strenuous, your supposed to be resting and recuperating.

Well, gee, Immoral, that’s quite a pickle you’re in! I’ll tell ya what, you get yourself out there and install that wheel, then tonight you pack the family up in both cars, mail the keys to the bank, then you just set that house on fire and drive to Colorado.
Tell ‘em Jiminy sentcha!

It’s not like it’s strenuous physical labor, right? You need something to keep you occupied on your day off.

Take a nap.

Watch car videos on youtube instead. I had almost this exact same dilemma on Monday. For me it was... rest or prototipo?

Your nap will be that much more restful after you have accomplished something.

It’s a fairly easy job but don’t push yourself if you think you’re too sick.
Enjoy this kinda-tutorial from a fellow 80s Toyota enthusiast. Don’t take the nut holding the steering wheel off all the way, however. Leaving it prevents you from smacking yourself in the face when you wrestle it off.
